Jéssica has a Law degree and a Master’s degree in Notary and Registration Law from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, where she graduated with honors. She served as legal assistant for the National Transportation Chamber (CANATRANS in Spanish) and as legal counsel for the Costa Rican Union of Chambers and Associations of the Private Business Sector (UCCAEP in Spanish).  For the latter, Jéssica acted as technician responsible for education topics (human talent), regulatory improvement, competition, gender, and labor matters.  

Jéssica has also represented the Costa Rican business sector, acting as technical counsel, alternate delegate, and principal delegate at the International Labour Conference. Over 5 years she was member of the Superior Labor Council, as well as representative of the employer sector at the Employment Council and the Advisory Group of the ODS’ Consultant Committee,  and also at the EU-Central America Association Agreement.

Her final dissertation work focused on paid passenger public transportation issues, which was approved with distinction by the Examiners Board. She has been working for our firm since August 2023 as member of the Private Labor Department.
