Graduated with honors from the Master of Laws (LL.M.) program for international attorneys at the prestigious Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, Illinois, in 2016. Additionally, he served as a Summer Associate at the New York City office of Littler Mendelson, P.C., in 2016. He passed the New York State Bar Exam and has been officially admitted as an attorney in that state since June 2021.
He has been working with the Firm since July 2012 in the area of Private Labor Law and became a partner in 2018. His responsibilities include advising clients from various industries, including technology, services, agribusiness, and others, on day-to-day labor relations and strategic decision-making in labor matters. He specializes in drafting and translating legal documents from Spanish to English and vice versa, adapting corporate policies and manuals to Costa Rican legislation, risk prevention, labor dispute prevention, and other preventive consulting tasks. He is also actively involved in conducting in-house training sessions for the firm’s clients in both Spanish and English.
Additionally, he is responsible for coordinating regional projects for BDS Asesores in its offices across Central America, Panama, and the Dominican Republic, providing clients with a single point of contact for their regional needs.
